MaPrimeRénov’


With the aim of decarbonising the housing stock, MaPrimeRénov' finance the installation of a low-carbon heating or domestic hot water system. In addition, households can choose to carry out other work. To qualify for this assistance, you must provide a DPE or an energy audit.
- From 1 January 2024: this aid will be available to all homeowners on very low, low and intermediate incomes.
- From 1 July 2024: owners of homes with an Fou G energy label will no longer have access to the scheme, and will be redirected to the Supported Path to carry out a major renovation.
Who is eligible?
MaPrimeRénov is available for :
- Owner-occupiers
- Landlords
- Usufructuaries
- The owners (occupiers and lessors) of a real right conferring the use of the property
- Tenants (occupiers and lessors) of an emphyteutic lease or a building lease
- Undivided owners, if all the undivided owners have signed the declaration of honour appointing the applicant to carry out the work on behalf of the undivided community.

For which accommodation?
- A dwelling occupied as a main residence (occupied for at least 8 months a year) in mainland France. The occupancy commitment may be verified within one year of the date of the balance request.
- Accommodation built at least 15 years ago in mainland France and 2 years ago in the French overseas territories.

Warmeo products are also eligible for MaPrimeRénov' Parcours accompagné. This aid encourages households undertaking ambitious renovations by financing a large part of the work. MaPrimeRénov' Parcours accompagné is accessible regardless of the home's energy label or household income.

The rate of VAT applied to renovation, improvement, conversion, fitting out and maintenance work is generally 10%. However, for work to improve energy performance, this rate is reduced to 5.5%.

For which accommodation?
- The property must have been completed more than 2 years ago.
- It can be occupied as a primary or secondary residence.
Energy Savings Certificates
Energy Savings Certificates


Companies selling energy (electricity, gas or LPG, heating, cooling, domestic heating oil, vehicle fuels) can offer you assistance to renovate your home.
This obligation is regulated by the State. The energy saving certificate scheme requires energy suppliers to promote effective energy saving measures among consumers. If they fail to meet their obligations, the government imposes heavy financial penalties.

Assistance is higher for households with modest resources. Resource ceilings are assessed on the basis of income, household composition and the address shown on the tax notice. If the property is rented out and the landlord or tenant is a low-income or very low-income household, either of them may apply for assistance, providing proof of their fuel poverty.

Éco Prêt à Taux Zéro (Éco-PTZ)
Éco Prêt à Taux Zéro (Éco-PTZ)
The éco-prêt à taux zéro (éco-PTZ) is a a zero-interest loan available without income restrictions, to finance energy efficiency improvements.
Who is eligible?
- Individuals (owner-occupiers or lessors), including co-owners;
- Non-trading companies not subject to corporation tax, at least one of whose members is an individual.
- Landlords can take advantage of the zero-rate eco-loan if they undertake to let their property as their main residence within 6 months of closing the file, or if it is already let as their main residence.

For which accommodation?
- The property must be declared as a principal residence or intended to be declared as such;
- A house or flat that has been completed for more than 2 years on the date the work begins.
- Only one zero-rate eco-loan can be granted per home (unless a complementary zero-rate eco-loan or a co-ownership zero-rate eco-loan is used).
For what type of work ?
You need to carry out work that :
- Or correspond to at least one effective action to improve energy performance.
- Or are eligible for MaPrimeRénov' Supported Journey or MaPrimeRénov' assistance used in parallel.
- Either enable the overall energy performance of the home to be improved by at least 35%, compared with the conventional energy consumption before the work was carried out.
- Or constitute work to rehabilitate non-collective sanitation systems with systems that do not consume energy and meet certain technical criteria.
For how much?
The amount of the zero-rate eco-loan is equal to the amount of eligible expenditure, subject to the ceilings below. The repayment period cannot exceed 15 years, which is extended to 20 years for the "overall energy performance" and "PrimeRénov'" eco-loans.
